Education Specialist. Reporting to the Director of Community Education, the Education Specialist will develop and deliver trainings to professionals and community members. Candidate should be able to work days, evenings and weekends on a regular basis. Responsibilities include marketing and sales of curriculum packages, as well as providing face-to-face delivery for adult-education programs. Prior experience in training/education, curriculum development, marketing and delivery required. Spanish-speaking preferred.
Development Associate. Reporting to the Senior Development Officer/Events, the Development Associate will serve as the staff liaison to Alliance (DCAC’s young professionals group) and will be responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of the group, cultivating prospects, and stewarding relationships to increase membership and retention.The Development Associate will also manage Encore for Advocacy (a concert series celebrating the transformative power of music therapy), Aim for Advocacy (DCAC’s annual sporting clay tournament), and 3rd party beneficiary/community events. Responsibilities will include event management and logistics, volunteer committee leadership, community outreach, procurement of in-kind sponsors, and fundraising to meet aggressive revenue goals. Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of work experience in the nonprofit development, communications, or related field required. Intermediate level proficiency with MS Windows, Word, Excel, Mail Chimp and Photoshop required. Blackbaud Raisers Edge knowledge preferred.
Clinical Intake/Research Specialist. Reporting to the Director of Research, the Clinical
Intake/Research Specialist will provide screenings, assessments, and
psychological testing of children and immediate family members as well as
therapy to clients. Responsibilities include consultation to clinicians and
team members, testifying in court when required, and assisting in research
activities. Candidate must have clinical experience in assessment and therapy
as well as data collection, input, and analyses. Ph.D or Psy. D in Psychology
required; however, students who have completed all degree requirements except
for dissertation will be considered. Spanish-speaking
preferred. This is a part time position.
