Chief Operating Officer. Reporting to the President/CEO and serving as an integral member of the senior management team, the COO directs, administers, and coordinates the internal operational activities of the organization in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the CEO and the Board of Directors. The COO leads and directs the following functions and business units: Forensic Interview, Clinical Services, Family Assistance, Administrative Support, Research Institute, and Volunteer Services. As COO, she/he will assist the CEO in developing organizational policies and goals that enhance DCAC operations, performance and growth. In addition, the COO partners with peers to ensure sound programming, strategic planning, effective Center operations, in depth service analysis, and appropriate staff management.
Clinical Intake/Research Specialist. Reporting to the Director of Research, the Clinical
Intake/Research Specialist will provide screenings, assessments, and
psychological testing of children and immediate family members as well as
therapy to clients. Responsibilities include consultation to clinicians and
team members, testifying in court when required, and assisting in research
activities. Candidate must have clinical experience in assessment and therapy
as well as data collection, input, and analyses. Ph.D or Psy. D in Psychology
required; however, students who have completed all degree requirements except
for dissertation will be considered. Spanish-speaking required. This is a part time position.
Licensed Therapist. The Therapist
will conduct psychosocial assessments and
provide individual, group, and family therapy to Dallas Children's Advocacy
Center clientele. Must have 2-3 years experience in a non-profit setting
and appropriate license to conduct counseling services in the state of Texas.
Candidate must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and/or
weekends. Spanish speaking preferred.
Education Specialist. Reporting to the Director of
Community Education, the Education Specialist will develop and deliver
trainings to professionals and community members. Candidate should be able to work
days, evenings and weekends on a regular basis. Responsibilities include
marketing and sales of curriculum packages, as well as providing face-to-face
delivery for adult-education programs. Prior experience in training/education,
