Laura Elia's words capture the essence of her transformational art. Inspired by vivid images that flood her mind during daily yoga and meditation practice, Elia began putting paint to canvas in 2007. She embraced the imagery and saturated colors of traditional Tibetan Buddhist ritual objects and found a way to incorporate them into her work. Each of her vibrant, abstract paintings holds a Tibetan prayer flag as a humble appeal for compassion, peace or wisdom. Elia's work appears in galleries, spas, yoga studios, boutiques, and in a growing number of private collections.
