Since 1991, the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) has provided hope and healing to the most severely abused children in Dallas County. DCAC provides a coordinated, multi-disciplinary approach to the investigation, prosecution, and treatment of child abuse cases. The only agency of its kind in Dallas County, DCAC removes barriers to treatment and enhances criminal prosecution with public and private agencies including Dallas County law enforcement, Child Protective Services, the District Attorney’s Office, and Children’s Medical Center.
Aim for Advocacy is a fundraising event designed to engage sporting and outdoor enthusiasts in DCAC’s work to improve the lives of abused children in Dallas County and to provide national leadership on child abuse issues. The event will include participation in a 13-station clay shooting competition as well as breakfast/lunch, a live auction, raffle for outdoor experience packages and luxury recreational items, and an end-of-day awards presentation and reception.
