Dallas' Crystal Charity Ball selects 6 Children's Programs for Funding

Chairwoman Cynthia R. Mitchell has announced that the Crystal Charity Ball committee has selected six children's beneficiary programs for 2010 with a collective need of $4,112,273.

They are:

Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas: $596,222.

Children's Medical Center: $997,212.

Dallas Children's Advocacy Center: $750,000.

The Family Place: $590,981.

Texas Home Access Fund Inc.: $350,000.

Parkland Foundation: $827,858.

The beneficiaries were selected at the organization's general membership meeting Feb. 4 at Communities Foundation of Texas. Robyn Conlon is the 2010 underwriting chairwoman.

The 2010 Crystal Charity Ball will be held Dec. 4. For information on the Crystal Charity Ball and its beneficiaries, call 214-526-5868 or visit crystalcharityball.org. The Crystal Charity Ball has distributed more than $95 million to children's charities in Dallas County since 1953.
