Last year, generous community contributions to the Annual Fund Campaign allowed DCAC to provided hope, healing and justice to over 1,900 child victims of sexual and physical abuse – a 55% increase over clients served in the year 2000. Thanks to you, 998 children received specialized forensic interviews in a safe place, breaking the silence about their abuse. Ultimately, this led to a 93% conviction rate for DCAC cases presented for prosecution and renewed hope for the child victims. Additionally, 986 sexually and physically abused children in Dallas County and their non-offending family members received specialized therapy treatment at little or no out-of-pocket cost, from a staff with over 75 years of combined experience in helping child abuse victims.

Unfortunately, the number of children needing our help continues to grow each year– and we need your help now more than ever. In November, you will receive an Annual Fund Campaign gift envelope inviting you to join us in supporting our annual campaign. Your generous gift will help in restoring a safe, happy childhood to a young victim, or may even save a life.
