| The Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center
is blessed to have volunteer partnering agencies to assist
our clients and the Center every day. These partners also
provide essential volunteer support and countless hours
to our annual Crimes Against Children Conference and
agency events.
The Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center
League supports, serves, educates, and promotes
the interests of the DCAC through their fundraising and
member involvement for the Center clients and staff. The
Assistance League of Dallas serves
the DCAC through their Hand in Hand program which provides
caring, trusting adult role models who assist the Center’s
clients in play activities in the playroom as they are waiting
for interviews or therapy sessions. The Junior League of Dallas
provides a large portion of the volunteers needed for the annual Crimes
Against Children Conference and assist our DA's office in
administrative duties. The Dallas Junior
Forum provides assistance to track DCAC cases
as they proceed through the criminal justice system. Our
volunteers, from throughout the Greater Dallas Community,
assist the Center’s clients in the playroom, and provide
office and clerical assistance. The Quilter’s Guild
provides comforting quilts for our clients to take home.
Many great things have happened at the Dallas Children's
Advocacy Center this year thanks to our wonderful volunteers
who give so much of themselves daily to help fulfill our
vision of success by improving the lives of abused children
in Dallas County and providing national leadership on child
abuse issues.
