ART + Advocacy

Prior Year's Events

The 2008 ART + Advocacy auction raised over $230,000! Guests enjoyed the musical talent of DJ Lucy Wrubel, the savory flavors of Kent Rathbun’s Abacus & Jasper’s restaurant, and an impressive display of artwork from some of Dallas’ top artists and galleries. Professional auctioneer Louis Murad added to the evening’s entertainment through his exciting presentation of the live auction items as attendees opened their pocketbooks to purchase the fine artwork offered at the event.

The 2nd annual ART + Advocacy, an art auction benefiting the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, was held on November 6, 2008 at Three Three Three First Avenue from 7:00 – 10:00 PM.

ART + Advocacy featured a curated exhibit of artwork created by DCAC’s child clients during their course of therapy. Additionally, ART + Advocacy had a wine pull the auction. Proceeds of the event will fund DCAC’s Art Therapy Program and other life-changing programs offered at the Center.
