Art donations to the 2010 auction are not yet open for consideration and acceptance by the ART Committee. Please continue to check this page for when donations will be accepted and reviewed by the Art Committee.

Artist Benefits Include:

For donation of a live auction item:

  • Opportunity for name to be listed in media promotion materials and within the event invitation
  • Name, artist bio, and title of donated artwork in the event program and at the event
  • Name of artist, picture of donated artwork, and link to artist’s website on DCAC event website
  • Signage at the event
  • Opportunity to showcase business cards at the event
  • Opportunity to meet event sponsors at the VIP Sponsor Pre Party
  • Two tickets to ART + Advocacy

For donation of a silent auction item:

Submitted artwork has been reviewed by a committee of artists and art patrons, independent of DCAC. This committee has selected the work which will appear in the 2009 ART + Advocacy silent and live auction. We would like to congratulate the following artists, as their pieces have been chosen for the live auction.

Please ensure artwork submitted is of a subject matter that does not run contradictory to our message of hope and healing. Due to the space constraints at the auction, submitted artwork might not be accepted. We greatly appreciate your support of the auction and appreciate your flexibility.

The Dallas Morning News will highlight 6 artists, considered to be emerging artists in Dallas, in an upcoming publication.  Artists and galleries selected for this publication will be chosen by the Art committee.  Artists and galleries will be considered if work and contract is submitted before September 15th. The 6 emerging artists chosen for the Dallas Morning News' publication are Juanluis Gonzalez, Michael Ledoux, Debbie Klein, George Fowler, Bob Poe, and Sunny Jacquet. The Dallas Morning News will begin running information the week of October 19th.

Art consultants will be available at the auction to discuss the showcased artists and their works.

Is artwork framed?
Please Note: It is preferred that artwork is framed in order to minimize costs.

*Delivery Method:

A DCAC Staff member will contact the artist/contact person within 5 business days of being notified about delivery of the auction item or request for the auction item to be picked up. Because we value your contribution, we ask that you please bubble wrap the artwork in order to prevent any damage in delivery.

*Information Packets:

I will include a packet of information in an envelope (which can be sent via mail) about my work and bio as an artist to be sent to the purchaser of my piece at ART+Advocacy after the event. Separately I will also include business cards and other marketing material about my work and bio as an artist which will be showcased at the ART+Advocacy auction.





If yes, please have your packet of information in a delivery envelope and/or business cards available when delivering your auction item and/or when the auction item will be picked up.
