The 2010 ART + Advocacy Auction will feature fine wines and champagne in our ever-popular Wine Pull.

More information is coming soon on the 2010 featured selections.

2009 Wine Pull selections included:

Montaudon Brut Champagne NV:  A distinctive, memorable champagne in a mature style.  Deep gold in color, expansively doughy, flinty and nutty in aroma and flavor, super smooth texture backed by firm acidity. The finish seems to last for minutes.

Montaudon Brut Grande Rose NV:  Delicious. Red fruit, cinnamon, and ginger aromas and flavors highlight this lively, medium-bodied rosé.  Balanced and smooth, it ends with a lingering note of candied cherry.

Hospices de Beaune Corton Dr Peste/Premier Cru 2005:  This selection is from the celebrated 2005 vintage which has been noted as the "greatest Burgundy vintage in modern times."

Hospices de Beaune Volnay Santenots Premier Cru 2001:  Ripe rich Pinot Noir.

Blends from B Cellars - the Best of Northern California 2007, 2006, 2005:  This relatively new producer's debut vintage was in 2003.  Proprietors Jim Borsack and Duffy Keys have hired Kirk Venge as their consulting winemaker, and the wines are clearly made in a fruit-forward style that should satisfy consumers and restaurants looking for immediate drinkability.

Blend 24 2005: Exhibits a deep ruby-purple color, a big sweet kiss of black currants, smoky oak, and a touch of forest floor followed by a heady, full bodied rich style with good acidity as well as sweet tannins.

Blend 25 2005: Offers a big, sweet nose of blackberries, chocolate, coffee beans, and plums.  Full-bodied with excellent fruit, low acidity, and a broad, savory mouth-feel, it should provide plenty of pleasure during its exuberant youth.

Blend 26 2005: Full-bodied red displaying abundant quantities of creme de cassis, licorice, incense, and lead pencil shavings.  Full-bodied, lush, and seductive, it is impossible to resist now but should age for a decade or more.

Sangiovese 2006:  B Cellars' 2006 Sangiovese is one of the finest wines from this varietal...it comes across as distinctly Rhone-like red, displaying black fruit, earth, strawberry, red cherry, new saddle leather, and olive characteristics in its spicy personality.

Blend 23 2007: Exhibits tremendous aromatics, a honeyed texture, a creamy mouth-feel, loads of tropical and citrus fruits, good acidity, and a long, dry, crisp finish.
